Food commercials made my kid fat

Parents? Is your kid fat? Well it must be all those commercials. That's right. You couldn't possibly be to blame. You don't make the commercials. The evil food companies put those commercials on t.v. and then your kid got fat. Johnny, who is just seven and weighs 150 lbs., put his huge allowance in his pocket, got on a bus (i was going to have him ride his bike but then he probably wouldn't weigh 150, right?), stopped at the grocery store(he used a free wheel chair to shop in), and bought all the stuff he saw on t.v. that day. He must have been in some sort of trance. Yes the commercial took over his brain....."Johnny... Johnny....leave the house now and go buy twinkies, cupcakes, cookies, nacho cheeeeeeeese chips......eat it all...ALL.....ALL!!!!!" Yep! The commercials made him fat. "Parents....Parents.....sue......sue.......SUE THEM ALL!!!

Straight Pride Month and flag

every minority group in the country has a day or month, pride, parade, and a flag except heterosexuals. i say it is time we start rubbing our preference in everyones face. so lets start sewing our flag. what should it look like? what month should we claim? we can also demand a day of silence in public school for heterosexual students. then we can populate certain neighborhoods in all the major cities and put our "straight propaganda" all over our yard! we will also force all the gay first graders to walk in our parade. people will get mad, call us breeders, say we're shoving it in everyones faces; it'll be great!!! i mean how dare we. we might upset somebody with our openness. oh dear we might influence kids to be straight. the publics feelings will be hurt and we'll all get thrown in jail for expressing ourselves and offending people with our straight sexuality. who's with me? c'mon i know you want to! equal rights, right?

parents rights bill No. 231

someone had asked when parents had lost the right to be responsible for their kids. i don't know the exact date but the fact that we have to have a bill saying that parents get to know what their kids are being taught says enough, too much in my opinion. so there you have it. depending on where you live you better start fighting, and fighting hard, so you can know what the school is teaching about sex!!! if i'm correct, georgia parents had some similar issues, lost, and it's in appeals.

BOO Police

yes, i said boo police. i saw it on fox news a couple nights ago. they have put boo police at basketball games somewhere in the state of washington i believe. thats right you must embrace the rival team with love and acceptance. cheer for them too. hell lets just not have a winner so no one feels bad. we're all EQUAL. yes even you melvin who is always benched because you suck! melvin, you're a winner too. bring in the U.N. cheerleaders! what the hell happened to competition. isn't that what pushes us to do better? try harder? prove ourselves? i love competition. i love the rush i used to get standing at the plate holding that bat in my sweaty palms. we lost every game that season but who cares. that was my best year ever. i would have wondered what was wrong with the other team if they wouldn't have been haggling us.

so i ask again why aren't parents doing anything about the schools. oh goody our sons are turning into a bunch of non competitive zombies. whats the point of playing if there is no winner or you have to share your win with the other team that LOST. you know, the LOSER. what kind of players do you get then. no one will play their best thats for sure. i just can't believe it. well actually i can. my son played t-ball and they didn't keep score. don't want to hurt anyones feelings. so you can never say, hey, your not very good at that, lets try some other things. well no i'm not gonna try cause i can keep sucking at basketball and everyone is still gonna call me a winner.

Antonio- Who gets to track the kids then?

Why don't parents have to report to school districts about their children? Someone needs to know so-called "homeschooled kids" are really being taught. How do we know the kids are not playing all day? In some states you do not have to tell anyone what you are doing. We need to know where those kids are. We need to be assured the children are being educated properly. How do we know the parents are even capable of teaching the children? What teaching experience do the parents have? Someone needs to monitor what could be a tragic outcome for the children.

Addressing Homeschooling

A Superior Court judge in New Jersey says homeschooling is just about the same as deliberate child abuse. see article at www.worldnetdaily.com

some stupid so called homeschooling family abused their kid. wrong yes. typical, absolutely NOT. everyone is freaking out now that kids aren't being tested and slipping through the cracks. someone needs to monitor this. oh no those kids aren't getting their lessons on how to be gay, masturbate, catch an std, tolerate all things, get an abortion without your parents knowing, etc.

Slipping through the cracks? Please! Testing? The teachers can't even pass those tests. The public schools pass failing kids all the time cause no one wants to mess with them. let me tell you what i learned in public school: how to be very bored, how to long to learn things i was actually interested in, how to get out of that hell hole, how to draw without the teacher seeing, how to read something else without the teacher seeing, and so on.

I think i'm too mad to continue. i'll have to finish later. i can't write when i'm this mad. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! i'm going to go chase down some innocent little mice and tear out their throats.

Greedy Schools

I can not understand why parents are allowing schools to tell them what they can and can not do with their kids. In Scotts Valley, California the ScottsValley district is charging parents by the day for missed classes if the parents take their kids out for vacation. What? We already pay twice what the government pays in and the schools wants more. (note here we pay taxes for public schools and our kids don't even attend so they are actually getting money for non existent kids too) To me this is just proof that the school is more concerned with money than kids. This brings to my mind the topic of ADD and ADD/HD. Schools get even more if the kids have conditions. Anyone notice the rise in ADD and ADD/HD? I sure did. I'll address ADD later in a different blog. Anyway, parents should be able to pull their kids out for whatever, whenever without the school demanding money. The parents have already paid!

"Are the ski slopes calling? Is the beach beckoning? Are you taking the kids to Disneyland midweek to avoid the crowds?" the letter asked. "If so, we would encourage you to reconsider. When your child misses school, there are consequences for the student and the district."

I hardly think missing some school has negative effects on the kids. In fact it was probably good for them to get out of that prison of oppression.

"Our schools are duct-taped together and they're in portables. It's a shame. We need every penny we can keep," she said. "If you can afford to go to Disneyland or go on a ski trip, maybe you can afford a donation."

It is NO business of the school how or what parents spend their money on. A donation? For what? Education on tolerance so the kids learn to lay down and let the government walk all over them? More after school clubs that parents aren't even allowed to know if their kid is in? Maybe a gay pride float for the first graders so all the homosexuals know the six year olds support their lifestyle? Sure, i'll give you a donation. Here's a math book, a reading book, a language book, a handwriting book, an old history book(none of that america is evil b.s.),and a biology book. Now get rid of all that after school liberal propaganda and do your job!!!

Protecting yourself from Child Protective Services

penelopes personal story
child protective services came to my house one day with a tip, 1st that my kitties weren't in school and 2nd there was a concern for the childrens safety, especially the baby kitty. i told the lady we homeschool and asked what the safety thing was about. she said she needed to talk to the children(she wants in my house). i asked her if she had a warrant and she said she didn't need one. YES SHE DOES!!!!!!! and don't let them tell you otherwise. i told her she did need one. then i asked again about the safety thing. she said there was a tip that my kitties weren't vaccinated. i explained to HER (the state worker) that in this state i can use a personal or religious exemption therefore i've done nothing wrong. i told her to go back to the office and educate herself on state laws and then notify me this has been dropped. it of course got dropped. but less than a month later a social worker from the school showed up asking about the kids not being in school. WHAT THE ****!!! i didn't say that but i was mad. i told her they were homeschooled. she said i need to notify the school. i told her in this state i don't have to notify anyone. she said that had i she wouldn't have had to inconvenience me with her coming there. as if it's my fault she's a nazi. i know who called and tried to ruin my life. i also put a huge sign on my door stating that we homeschool. i called a lawyer after the cps visit and the lawyer didn't know the state laws about anything. the lesson here is that the 4th amendment can save your ass! never let anyone in your home, no matter what they say or threaten, if they don't have a warrant. doing so allows them to lie. so many parents lose their kids because they let cps in their home. we became members of home school legal defense shortly after.

gerald responding to antonio

i'm with penelope on this. her career? what? responsibility? we live in a "no responsibility" society. baby comes out, chuck it in daycare 8+ hours a day, pick it up, pay attention to it for a couple hours then put it to bed. what about weekends? hire a babysitter for most of it so mom can still go out and party or suck it up and tolerate it for two days and pray monday morning comes soon. when it's five chuck it in public school, have it go to daycare after school, pick it up, talk to it, feed it , put it to bed. this cycle can go on till it's old enough to be alone and then mom (as she calls herself)is home free! whew ! thank god for daycare.

antonio responding to penelope about rights

the reason men have no say about the abortion thing is because they don't have to go through the pregnancy. their bodies won't change, they won't gain weight, they won't be stuck with a responsibility they don't want. if they aren't ready for a child they could end up being a bad mom, it could interfere with her career or college even. it is her body that these changes are happening to not the mans.

antonio

go women!

is glamour magazine contradicting itself?

i don't remember what month this was but Glamour magazine was bragging about getting recognition (maybe even an award) from NARAL (love abortion) on some article of which i can't remember. i think it had to do with girls being denied the morning after pill in hospitals. anyway a few months later they were outraged because in some country they are aborting baby girls. Huh? oh i get it, long live women, kill all men! i don't think they would have ever covered the story had they been aborting boys. well maybe from the perspective of keeping the sperm banks running so women can breed without actually needing a physical male.

penelope

something creepy

it has a been awhile but i was watching rachel ray one morning (she was making a mean chili, i swear). one of her guests was this teacher who goes to her students houses in her p.j.'s and reads the kid a bedtime story. my first question is, don't the parents know how to read? second, why is my kids teacher standing on our front porch in her p.j.'s? third, with all the teachers out there trying to get in our kids pants why should i allow this? sounds like a government watch dog association developing. i can only imagine what a huge mess this can create at the hand of Child Protective Services. "mr. jones, we are here investigating the fact that "anonymous" saw a bruise on said childs arm and we believe your childs safety is in jeopardy." just my opinion but i think it's all really creepy.
gerald the majestic goat

mens rights vs. womens rights

i've been tossing this around for awhile. if a woman doesn't want her baby she can abort it. what if the guy she slept with wants the baby? she can still abort it. what if she wants the baby but he doesn't? he will have to pay child support for it till it's 18. this really makes no sense to me. shouldn't the guy have the right to brush off the responsibility just as the girl does. heck yeah!!! girls can have a fling and dissolve the bi-products, why can't men? if women have the right to choose then men should have the same right to sign a paper and say sorry this just won't work for me. women don't want equality they want favortism, sympathy, and money. if a girl aborts she's praticing her right to choice. if a man won't pay child support he's a pig. someone tell me what is so equal about that.
